Theodorus Antonides died on January 2, 1715, in Westerwijtwerd, in the province of Groningen. Evidence of this is provided by the following passage from the DTB registers of the Groningen Archives:

The literal text reads: ‘1715 den 2 ijanwarij is de E pastoor Antonides, pastoor tot Westerwijtwert en Menkeweer in den Heere ontslapen’.
